Growing up as a first-generation Latina meant I learned how to navigate two cultures at once—my family’s Mexican roots and the world around me. That experience shaped the way I understand identity, responsibility, and resilience. It taught me how to adapt, communicate, and support others from a young age.
As a young mom balancing work and college, I became curious about personal growth, mental wellness, and the unspoken pressures so many women carry. Therapy became part of that process for me—not because something was “wrong,” but because I wanted clarity, confidence, and healthier ways of functioning.
Through that journey, I learned the power of boundaries, emotional regulation, and self-compassion. I realized how transformative it can be when someone finally has space to talk, feel, and be understood—especially for First-Gen women who are used to “figuring it out” on their own.
That insight led me to pursue my Bachelor’s at Cal State Long Beach and my MSW at Cal State Northridge, where I focused on clinical work with a variety of ages. Becoming an LCSW felt like a natural extension of everything I value: culture, family, healing, and growth.
Today, I work with high-functioning individuals, moms, and First-Gens who want to understand themselves on a deeper level, break unhelpful patterns, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives.
Clients often tell me they connect with me because I bring a blend of lived experience, cultural understanding, and clinical expertise—without judgment or pressure. I understand what it’s like to carry a lot, succeed despite challenges, and still want more stability, peace, or direction.
My goal is simple:
To support women who are ready to feel more regulated, supported, and aligned with the life they’re building.
I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating major life transitions, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or noticing that they feel “stuck” despite appearing high-functioning to everyone around them.
Many of my clients are caregivers, professionals, students, new mothers, or women juggling multiple roles. They are often the ones others depend on—yet privately, they may be experiencing anxiety, burnout, postpartum challenges, grief, low self-worth, or difficulty setting boundaries.
Some are processing what they didn’t receive growing up. Others are figuring out who they are outside of family expectations, cultural pressure, or perfectionism. Many are in therapy for the first time and want to better understand their patterns, emotions, and needs.
In our work together, I provide a grounded, supportive space where you can explore the root of what’s happening—not just the symptoms on the surface. My approach focuses on helping you build emotional regulation skills, reduce stress, reconnect with your values, and develop confidence in navigating your day-to-day life.
My goal is to help you feel more in control of your emotional world, more connected to yourself, and more aligned with the life you’re creating.
